With an emphasis on “Northwoods” architecture, this guest house for the Underwood family at Leach Lake provides a cabin feel through the use of modern materials.

The available site area limited the width and length of the house. This conceptual design includes a tapestry of materials that one might expect to see on a cabin in northern Minnesota, such as stone, cedar shakes, and heavy timbers.
