Accord’s long-standing relationship with First Citizens National Bank (now “First Citizens Bank”) began in the 1990s. That bank project was in Charles City, Iowa. It was followed by FCB’s conversion of a former insurance building on the west side of Mason City into FCB headquarters. Accord’s design work at this location included multiple projects. Remodels included the Heritage Club room and Trust Department. Accord renovated The Blood Center of North Iowa, followed by a “Welcome Home” portion of the bank. Accord completely renovated the entire building in early 2019. This included new entrance structures and a drive-under canopy.

Accord has assisted in the role of “branding” the First Citizens Bank name through architecture at numerous locations. Design elements can be found in Accord’s work for FCB at Osage, Charles City, Clarion, and Mason City.
