Accord’s work in the banking/financial industry continues with this 3,625 SF free-standing new bank for MBT. Placed on a strategic location along Highway 18 in Clear Lake, the bank itself serves as an opportunity for MBT’s business development. With a large change in elevation on the back side of the property, the site became the largest challenge. Multiple parcels were merged into one and a retaining wall provides additional area for the new building. Despite the limited north-south site dimension, Accord was able to design a building that met the goals of the project. Manufacturers Bank and Trust has offices in multiple locations, including their original location in Forest City, IA.
