Accord Architecture has long provided design services for MercyOne – New Hampton, which was formerly known as Mercy Medical Center – New Hampton (MMCNH). In 2001 Accord expanded and renovated multiple hospital departments on time and on budget. Six years after that multi-million dollar project, Accord attached a clinic to the critical access hospital. Accord’s most recent $6 MIL MMCNH project involves new registration and waiting areas, along with a completely renovated emergency department and acute care patient wing.

Goals of this project were to secure the emergency department, convert semi-private patient rooms into private rooms, and create private registration rooms. Privacy, accessibility, infection-control, and security were all achieved in Accord’s recent design.
