Mitchell County Regional Health Center: Osage

Having explored master planning options with Accord Architecture in 2015, Mitchell County Regional Health Center embarked on a multi-phased, $12 MIL expansion and renovation project to transform both the hospital and clinic. This project includes an approximate 24,000 SF addition and 17,000 SF of renovated space. A two-story clinic addition encompasses most of the new addition. The expansion houses physical therapy, OT, speech, and cardiac rehab areas. The addition also includes a new drive-under canopy and a rooftop heliport. Its interior corridor is used solely by the Emergency Department. Front lobby and registration renovations increased efficiency and overall patient experience. This project’s improvements also greatly enhance patient safety. Construction began in the spring of 2017 and was completed in the summer of 2019.

Accord’s work at MCRHC continued with the surgery center expansion and renovation project, completed in 2020.
