Accord Architecture designed a $9 MIL multi-phased renovation and expansion project at PACHS in 2005. It involved the long-term care, acute care, obstetrics, pharmacy, and community health departments. On the heels of that project, Accord renovated the surgery department in 2008. Accord’s work continued at PACHS in 2015 for the expansion and renovation of the emergency department, rehab services, registration, and partial remodeling of the clinic. That project was a direct result of Accord’s 2013 master facility plan. The 2015 project expanded the hospital by 7,800 SF, renovating over 20,000 SF. Accord led multi-day 3P lean events, in which a team creates full-scale mock-ups to test potential designs. The goal of the week-long mock-up exercise was to optimize flow and value to the staff and patients.
