Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare in Mason City counsels and treats North Iowans battling addictions. We expanded the campus building by 25,000 square feet. This includes a new women’s inpatient care wing, wellness center, lab, and improved outpatient facilities. Accord’s design redefined the entrance, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality of patient registration. The deep overhangs and strong horizontal lines embrace Mason City’s Prairie School Architecture heritage. This project won two honors in 2018: the AIA People’s Choice Award and creativity in masonry from the Masonry Institute.
