Accord Architecture has provided comprehensive design services for RHSHC since 2003. Accord completed a facilities master plan in 2010 that led to a 41,000 square-foot renovation and expansion, valued at $14.3 million. This project consisted of 22,000 square feet of renovated space. Accord modernized operating rooms, lab, obstetrics, same day surgery, and nurse stations. The 19,000 square foot addition includes acute care (a new patient wing), physical therapy, emergency, and main lobby/entrance. The project scope also includes new parking and a helipad. Accord was hired again in 2019, for additional master planning services related to the clinic, which led to a $6 MIL clinic expansion and renovation project partially funded by the USDA. The clinic project focuses on respiratory care, which became a focus at RHSHC due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
